Public schools must take a hard stance against forcing students to watch harmful Christian propaganda and anti-evolution movies that have no educational merit.

Teachers are prohibited from promoting and showing Creationist and Intelligent Design movies.  These films are based on religious belief, not a legitimate scientific theory.

School districts may claim to give students the right to "opt out" of watching the movies.  An opt out policy does nothing to cure the constitutional violation at issue when the religious activity itself remains unlawful.

Here is a list of a few religious themed movies that teachers are prohibited from forcing their students to watch:

  • Courageous
  • Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed
  • Exodus: Gods and Kings
  • Facing the Giants
  • Fireproof
  • God's Not Dead
  • Heaven Is For Real
  • The Last Temptation of Christ
  • Left Behind
  • Miracles from Heaven
  • Noah
  • October Baby
  • The Passion of the Christ
  • Persecuted
  • Risen
  • Saving Christmas
  • Unstoppable
  • The War Room
